What is the best internet connection here in kuwait at a cheap price? I have a router so i have no problem for wired connection.

@ Bernie, VIVA is so good! YouTube opens within seconds and streams fast...that's my litmus test for a good ISP but the downside is...you've got to keep the mini router close to your device for a stronger coverage.

Mada Telecommunications in Kuwait, a real scam, they offer wireless internet access advertising that it reach up to 10 mbps and you pay 180.00 KD for a year up front and when you try it, it is less than 2 mbps. Then when you ask for a refund, they tell you we only guarantee that it is not less than 2 mbps and up to 10 mbps but we do not guarantee 10 mbps.

I'm new to kuwait, & i struggled a lot till i found internet at a good price, wataniya is very slow, & not worth the money, i dont know abt zain or viva, but mada 2mb connection is for 10 kd per month, & u can use ur laptop as wifi transmitter for rest of devices, connection is reliable & no disconnection, the best advantage over viva & zain is that download is unlimited, so far i think its the best option for new commers if u cant have a dsl connection.

The best is KEMS I think. FT is very bad in performance. It takes one hour to open one page. Download is fast but the browsing is very very slow.

I'm using KEMS and it is great , there's T3 monthly subscription @ 10KD/month
and the speed is 1.5 mbps .cheaper than zain and wataniya and reliable I recommend it for u

I sugguest the zain or viva USB internet connection, its really worthable for using it at home and other places around Kuwait, it will cost around 14 KD Monthly for the annual contract, also there is a recharge option where you can refill and use it per day/week/month. good luck :)

for a month and find it's the slowest connection I've ever been unfortunate enough to use. Colleagues say Viva is great although I am in the process of getting wireless in my apartment (extremely difficult). If you want to use Skype then Wataniya is NOT the one for you.
