doctors expected salary

I am being offered a job in Bahrain as a specialist in OBGYN.Please can someone kindly tell me the salary and other allowances i should ask for.The hospital wants to hear from me before they would let me know.Also,i would like to know the cost of living as well as cost of primary/secondary schooling.

  OK. If the designation is specialist, the salary would be more than 2000 BHD. thats for sure. Best of luck!!

  Hello.. well it depends on the experience of a person. How many years experience do you have? I have heard that specialist doctors salaries are b/w 2000-3000 BHD. If you can let us know name of the hospital, may be we can check thoroughly. But I know someone who is a resident in Obs/Gynae and she is being paid around1000 BHD, 700 as basic & 250 housing allowance. Flights & one months paid leaves also.
